Hi! My name is Jenelle Martin, and I am a college student at Greenville Technical College. I love working with kids and pets alike and have seven years of experience babysitting and nannying in my neighborhood and volunteering with kids. I am comfortable with caring for up to five kids at a time, doing minor housework, cooking meals, driving, and caring for pets. While I have been certified in first aid and CPR, my certification is not current; however, I would be willing to get recertified in both. At this time, I am looking for opportunities to work as a regular babysitter or after-school/weekend nanny but am open to discussing more options moving forward.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment I have had as a nanny was a hot day when we were playing outside. I had set up the water table and squirt guns for them and we were having a blast. I turned on the hose to make a sprinkler for them to run under and they were ecstatic. We must have played out there for an hour before they got hungry and we went inside laughing to dry off and eat lunch. The best moments for me are always when I can make the kids smile and I can see that they are truly enjoying themselves. The kids and I always have fun with activities I plan, but this moment in particular reminded me of the simple joys kids find in everyday play.
