A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Jenna, I’m 21 years old and I have been nannying for the past 8 years! I am a student at CSUSM studying to become an elementary school teacher. I have watched kids of all ages ranging from one week old to 10 years old. I can cook, meal prep, clean, do laundry, run errands, and anything else that’s needed! I love having fun with my kiddos and going on adventures to parks, libraries, museums, botanical gardens etc! I also love coming up with fun mind stimulating activities and games that help with reaching milestones and learning new skills. I love teaching my littles while also having fun and staying safe. I am nurturing, patient, loving, and very organized. I am super good at multitasking which I’ve learned is very important when it comes to being a nanny/ parent. I love all my nanny kids like they are own and always create a strong bond with them that will last a lifetime. I hope to become like a part of the family with whoever I work for!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at My Gym for a year as a teaching instructor for mommy and me classes. My mom is also an elementary school teacher for special needs kids so I always volunteer in here class to help out.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing at the park, bubbles, reading books, building blocks, arts and crafts, baking, building forts, playing hide and go seek.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being invested in the child and building an actual relationship with the child so that they are able to trust you and feel safe around you. I have a special place in my heart for all the babies I watch. I care for them as if I’m their mom and how I plan to take care of my future kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I have volunteered at my moms work to help out with special needs children and also worked with many special needs children while ai worked at My Gym!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was watching 5 kids (a two week old, two 2 year olds, and a four year old) and I was bathing them when the pizza guy arrived so I had to get all of them out and wrap them in towels and bring them down with me to answer the door.
