Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve babysitter my nephews (ages 2, 3, and 4) and niece (age 1) numerous times since the oldest was born.
I’ve volunteered to help and direct my church’s vbs programs
I’ve spent time chaperoning youth programs and my church’s children’s church programs
I’ve job shadowed at Volunteer High School under their colorguard instructors and currently work as David Crockett’s colorguard instructor

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m a very athletic and energetic person, so I can easily keep up with any rambunctious children, but I can easily rein them back in and redirect their attention to a quieter activity. I love playing Barbie’s, dress up, video games, tag, hide and seek, nerf wars, tea parties, dinosaurs (my nephews’ personal favs), and pretty much anything your child/children love.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important of being a nanny is listening to the parents and following their ways of doing things, as they know their children best. I find myself taking an older sister role for any children I’ve babysitted/nannied. I’m there to guide them and help them in whatever they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment regarding nannying is when I watched my nephews for a week, and had a tea party every night after dinner. We made a game to figure out what tea we drinking each night.
