Hi I’m Jenna, I’m 17 and I’m a senior in high school. I love being with kids. I recently stopped babysitting for a family I’d been working for since about 2015. I find being with kids is very natural and easy for me. I’m willing to bring my own food/drink as well. Additionally I can bring different board games/game consoles or toys for your kids to play with while under my care, all of which I would only do under your approval. I can be pretty strict with kids if I need to be but I also like to bring the fun and be someone they feel they can be themselves around.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play cops and robbers with the kids when we can go outside, it lets their imaginations run wild. While indoors I like to do really whatever they like to do with some exceptions of course. Coloring, building with legos, some tv watching and even having them help with lunch or dinner by making it a little game.

Being a responsible and attentive caregiver while also bringing an aspect of fun. Making it so you’re not just “the nanny”.

I have not directly cared for a child with special needs but I’m willing to adapt and learn any skills necessary to do so.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’d have to say my favorite moment is when I brought gingerbread house making kits to the house during Christmas time. The kids had a blast and we even made it a little competition for me to judge. It was an amazing time and a memory I will never forget.
