as a preschool assistant teacher certified to work with all age groups, and assistant to the director at NOBTS ELC, on the beautiful New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Campus on the Eastbank in Gentilly; also as a preschool assistant teacher working with one-year-olds at the Woodland Church ELC (my home church) on the Westbank in Algiers. (as well as countless babysitting jobs as a teenager and young adult.)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to te zoo and aquarium, as well as parks and other outdoor settings on nice days. I enjoy playing board games and doing arts and crafts. I also enjoy downtime with a fun movie and yummy snacks... I love letting the kiddos help with meal prep and teaching them about food and cooking while learning hand-on in the kitchen. I always love to read books and am very animated and love to get them involved in have conversations about what we are reading about!
