More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My aunt has a mental disorder. She ended up giving birth to a beautiful baby girl and my mom took them both in. Because my mother was a full time parent and my aunt was incapable of taking care of the baby, me being the oldest in the house at the time, i had to care for the child for many years. It was tough at first but as i grew up, the bond i grew with my little cousin was beautiful. I also babysit my friends children when they need help since they work full time and sometimes cant find a sitter.

Reading! There’s so many adventures in books! Praying as well! I also, love to see what the child enjoys doing since ever kiddo’s personality is different.

My experience with special needs children...
My boyfriends son is autistic and has ADHD. It was a but challenging at first but I’ve learned to be patient and give him time to process what I am telling him. He’s talking more, verbalizing more, without throwing tantrums and he listens to me a lot more now. He even calls me mommy and tells me he loves me!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing the children i take care of succeed. My little cousin had a few learning difficulties. But once i was able to understand her problems, understand her learning style better, she started to do better in school. She retained information more efficiently, and she overall was a happy girl! She was so proud when she knew all of her vocabulary words!
