I'm a mom of three who has kids that are 20, 16, and 14 years old. I have a birth-kindergarten degree from WCU. Out of college, I worked for Cherokee Central schools as a preschool special needs teacher. I resigned after 8 years to be a stay at home mom. After my youngest went to school, I babysat for a teachers infant until the teacher became a stay at home mom when that school year ended. Once my youngest child started 5th grade, I became a Pre-K teacher assistant for Jackson county schools where I am currently employed. I am considering leaving the school system for the right opportunity. I am looking for a part time position.
