A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Jennifer! I am 21 years old and live in Durham, ME. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I also have a ton of certifications on MRTQ and CCEI and have an associate’s degree in Education and Early Childhood Education from CMCC in Auburn, ME. I have had my driver’s license since 2021 and have my own car. I have a very good driving record and have an SUV that can fit 1-2 car seats. I have been working at a daycare for 3+ years with ages 6 weeks- 5 years. I have ran my own room and been a lead teacher in our young toddler room for over a year now. Before that I spent most of my time in the infant rooms and it is my favorite. I am also currently taking courses to become a doula and would like to possibly do nannying and doula services at the same time with a consistent schedule. I would love to become a part of your family and love your littles like my own!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of a nanny is not only being their safety and comfort outside of family, but to have a great relationship with each kiddo and the parents. I want to feel like family and have them all know that I am there for them and care so much. I love sharing special moments and creating bonds.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked as. a 1 on 1 at the Brunswick Recreation Department summer camp with a child with autism and loved it. I have also worked with children who have behavioral issues and enjoyed that too.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I haven't nannied before, but I have some very good moments with kiddos from the daycare and that I have babysat for! I love sharing first steps, rolling over, learning to spell their names, and much more!
