Hi there!
My name is Jenny I am from Texas and bilingual. I have not been a nanny before, but I have done volunteer work with 20 plus kids in Latin America and I used to work at in childcare at a gym. I currently have a 2-year-old niece and have learned a lot about their needs and what it takes to look after them. I really love kids so much and hope to have some of my own today. I have a passion for nurturing the maternal side of me and I believe being a nanny is the perfect way. I am currently in school right now pursuing a Bachelor’s in International Relations so this job will also align perfectly with the hours a am available to work weekly as much of my attention needs to go towards my education. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered at english-teaching programs in Latin America for a few months and worked with 20 plus kids. I have gained much knowledge about the care, precision it takes to tend to each individual kid as they are all very different. Every kid learns differently and requires different kinds of attention in specific areas. The more you spend time with the kids, the more you learn about them and their personality, and the more familiar they get with you as well. It’s important to create a space in which they can trust you to open up about their wants and needs. This promotes confidence and independence. I look forward to applying everything I have learned when I have children of my own!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to incorporate language lessons, dancing, drawing, and fun brain-stimulating games. At times I like to spark up interesting conversations and pick at their brains a bit to let them express themselves creatively and intellectually as their individual selves.

Tending to the wants/needs of both the parents and the child/children.
