More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am currently a middle school volleyball coach and a paraprofessional. I was previously a teacher’s aide for preschool for about three years and also was head of the daycare at the same school with kids ranging from ages 2-12. I have also previously worked in my church nursery for about a year with babies ages 3 months to 2 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing any kinds of activities with kids, whether that’s setting up arts and crafts for them or accompanying them to parks and other activities as such.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is doing your best to help nurture young minds to grow as well as building good relationships and support systems with both children and parents.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments working with a child was when I had this brand new two year old start preschool/daycare in my class and he had a very hard time getting used to the newness of everything. He used to get dropped off in the mornings and cry and when his mom left. I understood how it felt to be somewhere new and experience new people and things and I wanted to help him feel comfortable with me and this new place. I would help take his mind off of things by letting him help me make snacks and prepare activities for all the other kids! I would reassure and comfort him every time he got sad. Very soon it got to the point where he would calmly walk through the door without tears and run up and give me a big hug everyday. I look back on that moment often because I was able to help him get over his fear of new things and learn to enjoy preschool for the first time! I strive to make meaningful relationships with every child I work with!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Idaho Falls, ID: Kailah S.
I’m a proud mother of two and have been a stay-at-home mom for the past three years. During my free time I volunteer companionship for hospice patients, which has become one of my favorite things to do. I love forming friendships with people/children of all ages and doing the things they love with them. I’m calm, patient, creative, and friendly. I love fostering creativity and curiosity with activities like drawing/painting, learning new things, reading books, and outdoor play. Caring for my own children has given me hands-on experience with patience, understanding, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where kids can thrive. I treat every child with the same care and attentiveness I give my own. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with their childcare, so I would love the opportunity to be someone you can trust and rely on.
