Hi, I’m Jer’Miyah. I’m from Woodville, Mississippi I moved to Saint francisville from Gulfport about a year ago. I’m 20 years old, I go to school to school at BRCC majoring in child development. I’ve been a nanny since I was 17, I was a nanny to two little precious children under the age 4 back in Gulfport. I LOVED my job & I loved bonding with the kids but unfortunately that came to an end last year because of covid. So now a year later I want to get back into being a nanny, this is my passion & it doesn’t feel right doing anything else.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Nurturing a child, being able to connect with them & build a relationship. If you can’t do that there’s no point of trying. That’s the foundation.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently do not have experience with special needs children but I have no problem being a nanny to them & giving them my love also.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The parents worked later than normal but the kids were so used to seeing them at a certain time everyday they got a little fussy, so I promised them a movie night after their bath. We made cookies & popcorn and we built little forts to lay in while watching princess and the frog. They had the time of their lives lol, Definitely one of my favorite moments.
