More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny for a family of 5, worked at a day camp at the ymca and just recently babysat for a family of 3. I'm new to the area and I would love to get back into working with kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I enjoy doing with kids are science experiments like putting baking soda with vinegar and seeing what happens. I also enjoy baking. If its a nice sunny day I enjoy going on walks with the kids as long as we are in a safe space. I also like to play board games or color. I've found that painting with the kids is always a fun task no matter their age.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Listening to the kids needs. Whether it be what they want to eat, what they want to do, or just how they are feeling. I've found that when you do this then you rarely ever have kids that are unhappy.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have a ton of experience with special needs children. However, when I worked at the ymca there were two kids that were special needs in the camp. I did not have them in my group so I spent very little time with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment I have had was when i was baby sitting for a family of three. There mom had just got home and that meant that I was suppose to leave. It was my fist day with this family. When I was giving hugs before I left one of the kids started to cry. He told me that he was sad that I was going home and wanted me to stay. I told him that I would be back in the morning. That made him very excited and he was all smiles after that.
