I am a fun, energetic person looking to nanny for a family where I can build strong, genuine relationships with both the parents and children. I have my Bachelor's in Child Development with an emphasis in early childhood education. I have experience in infant & toddler classrooms and experience being a nanny for a toddler. I also have experience in the ABA field working on preschool readiness skills with children diagnosed with autism.

Aside from safety and building warm, genuine connections with the children and their family, my main priority is to support the child in every part of their development. My degree and work experience have made me an expert in supporting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of infants, toddlers, and young children.

I love reading, art & crafts, & anything outdoors.

I love incorporating learning into play. This can look like many different things depending upon the child’s age and interests. For instance, a preschool aged child may be having fun making mud pies outside. A natural expansion upon this activity would be counting as they add more scoops of dirt or discussing the price they want to sell their pies for. Both of these would allow the child to become familiar with numbers, counting, and adding. Furthermore, I would encourage the child to autograph their pie before “selling” it. This would allow for practice spelling and recognizing letters. I would expand upon language and vocabulary by asking the child to describe the way the mud feels. I would also encourage critical thinking by asking the child why they think the mud is too runny and what they can add to it to change the consistency.
