Hi! I’m an experienced mom of 2 (7yr old, 1.5yr old) and experienced childcare provider with 15+ years caring for children from infants to teens. I currently work M-F with the school district as a special education paraeducator. I use a Montessori-inspired approach, encouraging independence, hands-on learning, and respectful guidance.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 15 years of childcare experience with multiple families, caring for children from infancy through teens. I also currently work as a special education paraeducator, supporting students with a range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. My experience includes both long-term nanny roles and occasional babysitting, with a focus on routines, learning activities, and individualized care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy a mix of Montessori-inspired activities and semi-structured play, such as art projects, sensory activities, reading, and outdoor exploration (especially with water!), with activities adapted to the materials provided.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important parts of being a nanny are clear communication with parents, ensuring children are safe, happy, and providing care that fits each child’s unique needs. I also believe in being fairly compensated for my time and experience, especially since this work involves time away from my own little ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve had so many great moments over the years, but I especially love seeing kids excited about learning, proud of what they’ve made, or laughing during everyday play and routines. I also really value the little moments; random giggles, unexpected hugs, and those simple connections that build trust and make the day special.
