A little bit about me

I am an EMT so I work 12 hour shifts but on some of my days off I’d love to spend time with your family. I recently worked for a local middle school as a special needs para and I miss it so much now that I’m in EMS. I’m fully CPR and nationally BLS certified. I’m also looking to start my own family in the next year or so.

I am a sports fanatic. I’ve coached and played basketball since I was very young! I love to be active outdoors and do activities. I can fully structure activities for your kiddos or follow the plans you’ve provided. I definitely am active and would be right there in the pool with them having a good time or sitting in the floor playing with legos works too! I believe in keeping children off screen time as much as possible and active outside or engaged in educational activities. But again, I am here for you and will follow any guidelines you prefer. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a special needs paraprofessional at a local middle school and loved it. I also worked with at risk youth in the community. I am very god at de-escalating situations before they turn into crises, however, I’m also trained in crisis stabilization. I miss my kiddos now that I’m an EMT.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Being outside, hiking, gong for walks, the beach. Movies. Going to the museum. Getting ice cream! Playing inside/outside in backyard. Going to parks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being kind, caring. Keeping them safe. Building a rapport so the kids can feel comfortable around me. Establishing a relationship with the parent(s) as I’m easy going, flexible, dependable, and want to be a mom of my own soon!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a special needs paraprofessional at a local meddle school in Hales Corners. I also was certified in training of special needs when I worked at the jail and with at risk youth in the community.
