A little bit about me

Hi, I have over 17 years experience with newborns to 14 year olds. I’ve nannied for twins and multiple kiddos. I also have 2 school aged kiddos of my own and 1 in college . Most of my experience is with newborns to about 4 or 5 years old. I like to teach kids through play such as reading, baking/frosting cookies or cupcakes etc. my mom had a daycare as I grew up and I learned a lot from here like teaching ABCs in shaving cream or pudding, making edible play dough, lots of arts and crafts too. I like to take the kids I nanny for to the zoo, parks, library for story time, and other children related activities. We really enjoy the children’s museums too. Is making sure the kiddos are always safe and to follow the parents rules. Being on the same page as the parents is a big deal to me! I am a parent and I would want my rules followed if I had a nanny and keeping the house clean!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve had so many great memories with my past families I nannied for! The kiddos and their parents always become like family to me! My favorite times are when the kiddos are giggling or have big smiles while exploring new things. I’ve went to the local beach and went crab hunting by turning over rocks and loved seeing their amazement when they found a crab.
