More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been babysitting since middle school and have experience caring for children in both family and professional settings. Last summer, I cared for three children ages 4, 8, and 9, preparing their lunches, supervising them, and keeping them engaged with outdoor activities and age-appropriate games. I also worked as a Patient Attendant at Michigan Medicine, where I supervised children in the pediatric unit and helped provide a safe, comfortable environment for them during their care. As the oldest of three siblings, I’m naturally comfortable taking responsibility and making sure children feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Babysitter Available in Washington, DC: Chanel H.
Hi! My name is Chanel, and I am a caring, patient, dependable, and experienced childcare professional. I have worked with children since 2009 and have a background in early childhood care and education. I also worked as a Lead Special Education Teacher with children ages 3–12, supporting children with different learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your child. I believe in creating a safe, loving, structured, and fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I am also currently studying Psychology, which continues to strengthen my understanding of child development and behavior. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported.
