Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts with kids. I find it to be stimulating and enjoyable for the kids, and i love to see their proud little faces after finishing a project!
Being a swim instructor I also love to swim with children. Teaching children about water safety is extremely important to me and I think kids knowing how to swim and be confident in the water will be beneficial for their entire lives.
I also enjoy being out in nature with the kids, talking about the plants and bugs that we see and just getting to enjoy mother nature is really important for children.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important aspect of being a nanny is the well-being and happiness of the children under my care. As a nanny, it is crucial to prioritize their safety, physical and emotional needs, and overall development. Building a strong bond with the children and creating a nurturing environment where they feel loved, supported, and respected is my top priority.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a Uncle that I grew up with who has cerebral palsy. I understand how scary it can be for parents to have their kids with special needs be in the care of someone else. As a lifeguard in high school I taught a swimming lesson class to a small group of children with down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
During my time in San Diego as a Nanny I was working with a family who had twin 1 yr olds and a 7 yr old. Everyday I'd pack up the babies in their stroller and we'd walk to the elementary school to pick up Fox (the 7 yr old) from school. One day as we are walking home I'm asking Fox what his favorite part of school was today and he says "well, I think Mimi (a little girl in his class) likes me." So I respond with "oh yeah? What do you think she likes about you?" And then he starts listing all the things that he noticed that day like he makes her laugh, he holds the doors for her, he will share his snacks with her. And I told him that I'm sure she did like him because those are all very likable qualities about him. Im not sure why I loved this conversation so much, I still think about it often. He and I would often have these conversations while walking home. I just loved having these after school talks and walks with Fox.
