Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I use to help take care of my cousins handicap daughter who has cerebral palsy. Who's in a hospital bed and cannot walk and talk with a feeding tube in her belly.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing games, being crafty, read books, helped with homework if need be, whatever requirements the parents recommend for their kids, I don't believe in just throwing a kid in a room and say play, ohh no, I love bonding with children, it makes all the difference in the world.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most is remembering in first getting to know the kids, is to take time to learn them, study their ways, analyze if I have had related experiences and share how they could make things better, if that makes any sense to you... I know I had it rough when I was younger so I try to share in so many details just how lucky they may have it compared to how it was way back when,if that's okay with you. With all do respect.

My experience with special needs children...

I helped my cousin with her daughter to feed her girl through a feeding tube in her belly, including cleaning it, not an easy task. Help her go to the Shriners Drs. Appointments in Shreveport getting fitted for her braces, and wheelchair things included. I've also taken care of a kid who had autism at the age 14

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to be a kid with the kid and out fixing them, especially, especially when like to play sly dog, and then they see you're really a good person after all once you sit and actually talk with them and not yell and scream you know.. those are the best moments ..Sharing my heart. It's the best feeling in the world. But I love when they try to outwit me.. and turn things into a chase game, shaa only in those moments, is the best to me.
