More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Hi! I graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Work with children for 9 years now. 6 years at the daycare focusing on infants and toddlers, and the other 3 years plus I became full-time nanny/private tutor during Covid.
I can work with kids from 3 months to 8 years old. I’m very enthusiastic, friendly, kind, compassionate and understanding. Caring kids with patience and love. I love children no doubt!
I can do meal preparations. I drive also, if the kids go to school I can drop-off and pick up. Do light house cleaning as well. I can prepare indoor and outdoor activities for kids depending on their age and developmental milestones.
I can do constant work with parents regarding the child’s development. Physically, emotionally and cognitively.
I would love to work with a family who has the same principles as I do in raising kids. I do believe it takes a healthy and good environment to raise a healthy and good child. I look forward to working with you.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Hiking, playing at the park, going at the playground. Doing arts like dancing, singing, and painting/drawing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is that you cater to the child’s need emotionally, physically and mentally.

Babysitter Available in Washington, DC: Akel H.
Hi, my name is Akel Harrington. I have basically 18 years worth of childcare experience due to me having four siblings on my mother side and four siblings on my father side and being the oldest on both sides I had to grow up helping my mother and my father with my siblings which also helped me gain the natural skill of helping out with children, which led to me doing three years of paid babysitting/childcare. I am also good with kids with special needs because I also have one sibling on my mother side who has autism and another one of my dad side who has autism.

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Washington, DC: Jaylen S.
Hello!!!
My name is Jaylen and I’m greatly known for being a very loving, kind, energetic and attentive nanny.
My experience started with helping my mother care for my younger siblings, and from then on I went from watching her friends children, to being a certified babysitter in my teens and eventually becoming a daycare assistant teacher, after school teacher, solo lead teacher at a Christian school for a class of nine pre-k students, and eventually went on to be a nanny.
I have 6+ years of experience caring for ages newborn-10 years old. CPR + first aid certified. I love being very active with the children I care for, from story time, arts & crafts, super fun indoor learning activities, nice walks, playgrounds or outside activities via parent approval to children’s museums, aquariums, pet farms, picnics etc. I’m very comfortable with transiting to activities, pick up and drop off, light housekeeping, meal prepping, laundry, date nights and more.
