I have experience with children of all ages and with special needs. I’m comfortable with transportation, meal prep, housekeeping, potty training, and anything else to suit your families needs. I am the oldest of 6 children who I watched and took care of my whole childhood, and I was a date night sitter for young babies and for different families with as many as 6 kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied a sweet 4 year old boy with autism for a year, I frequently took care of my 23 year old cousin with autism, as well as my great uncle with autism who is a senior. I was a student aid in high school for a class of special needs students, where I mainly worked with and supported an 18 year old boy with down syndrome for 2 years. I also frequently volunteered at a DDA (Developmental Disability Agency) adult center and a DDA children’s center in my community.
