More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in a behavioral health office, caring for children with special needs and helping them correct their behavior. I also worked at an elementary school during high school working with children, grades kindergarten into sixth grade, helping them with homework, activities, etc. I have also been caring for my families children since the age of nine.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing puzzles with children, watching movies, playing outside, doing pretend play, and any other activity that their little hearts desire.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is treating these children like they’re your own. No parent should have to worry about how someone is treating their child when they’ve trusted them with one of the most precious things. Having patience and understanding for children is key to a successful nanny job. Always empathizing with a child and remembering that used to be you, so how would you want to be treated?

My experience with special needs children...

My little sister is special-needs and she has severe ADHD and receives behavioral health services. I also worked at a behavioral health office, where we cared for special-needs children and helped them correct their behaviors.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment that I’ve had working with children is when I was babysitting children on Easter, and got to set them up an egg hunt, and run around with them as they opened up all the eggs. It was so adorable and nostalgic to see these children live out what used to be one of my favorite things to do with a child. While they weren’t allowed to eat all the candy in the eggs, it was fun, watching them open up and enjoy all the prizes they found!
