Growing up I’ve worked in the nursery at church, I’ve babysat for family friends and others, I have also worked a summer program at a daycare. In the recent past I worked for a pediatric dental office for 3 years, this job allowed me to gain experience with different special needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to entertain, so whatever your child enjoys doing, so will I. I love to play games, inside or outdoors. If they enjoy sports, I’m willing to play and help practice. If your child needs help with homework I am more than happy to help tutor.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is being passionate about what you do and making a safe environment. Showing your love and care is essential for creating a good relationship with the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not babysat for special needs, but I have had plenty of interaction while working for a pediatric dental office. I have had the pleasure of caring for kids with DS, CP, and ASD (high and low spectrum). I understand patience and love is key for these special babies and I have it all to offer.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite time babysitting was when I was in highschool. I was babysitting for 3 boys ages 3-7 and we had so much fun. (With permission) We rode the golf cart around the neighborhood and played on the playground for a while. Later in the evening we played with toys, played tag, and hide and seek. Those babies had so much fun they were passed out by the time mom got home. I hope to have more fun experiences like this.
