More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As a nanny, I enjoyed both outdoor and indoor activities that helped children learn, grow, and have fun. Outdoors, I loved taking them on nature walks, playing games like tag or catch, going to the park for picnics, or riding bikes and scooters together. We also enjoyed gardening, where they learned to care for plants, and occasional trips to the zoo or playground. Indoors, I found joy in doing arts and crafts, baking cookies or pizzas, and reading stories together. We often built cozy blanket forts, played board games, or had fun dance parties. These activities made our days exciting while fostering their creativity, confidence, and happiness.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive. It’s about building a strong bond of trust and love with both the children and their families, ensuring the kids feel valued, secure, and cared for. Providing consistent guidance, teaching life skills, and encouraging creativity, curiosity, and emotional growth are essential. A nanny plays a crucial role in helping children develop confidence, independence, and a sense of responsibility while also being a positive role model. Ultimately, it’s about making a meaningful impact on their lives and fostering happy, healthy childhood experiences.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was 18 years old, I worked as a full-time cashier at my employer’s store. She had an amazing daughter(Kyna) with special needs, and since the little girl spent most weekdays at the store, I naturally took on the responsibility of caring for her as well. She was such a sweet, fun, and vibrant child who brought so much joy to my days. Despite the challenges that came with her occasional tantrums and difficult moments, I learned to manage her with patience and understanding. Over time, I discovered how to meet her unique needs, whether by calming her with gentle words, engaging her in fun activities, or simply offering a comforting presence. Those moments taught me the importance of empathy, adaptability, and genuine care. It was a deeply rewarding experience, and she became a special part of my journey, leaving a lasting impact on my heart.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny was seeing the children’s faces light up with joy and excitement when they achieved something new. Whether it was their first time riding a bike without training wheels, completing a tricky puzzle, or proudly showing off a craft we made together, their sense of accomplishment brought me so much happiness. I especially loved the quiet moments, like cuddling during storytime, where we could laugh, talk, and share our imaginations. Building trust and being part of their little milestones made every moment special, but those times when I saw their confidence grow and felt their love were truly unforgettable.
