A little bit about me

From 1989 to 1991, I attended Western WisconsinTechnical College in Lacrosse Wisconsin and received my Associate's Degree in Childcare and Development. For about 10+ years after receiving my Associate's degree, I have worked in numerous daycare centers in Michigan and throughout Wisconsin. For the next 15 years, I devoted my time to caring for my ill parents, raising my child, and providing care for other elderly clients in need of help. I moved back to Reedsburg WI. about 3 years ago. I've worked primarily with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, but I've also worked with elementary-aged children in a before and after school program. I also had a nanny job for about 10 mos. Unfortunately they moved. I am wanting to get back to working with children again. I am an easy-going, patient, and trustworthy person. I feel children should learn from their environment and grow exploring the world around them. I strive to provide a fun, caring, and safe environment for your child.

I enjoy going for walks to a park or around the neighborhood, walking or playing ball with a dog, going to the library, a museum or a zoo, doing anything nature related, arts and crafts, playing with toys, baking, science activities, board games, sporting events, and swimming.

My main goal is to ensure that your child; or children are safe, healthy, and happy in their environment. Since I am there for the child; or children I would strive to meet their needs according to their age and work with their schedule, while having a good time.

My experience with special needs children...

I did a practicum experience with children of a wide variety of developmental disabilities while I attended college. I've also babysit for a girl who had Downs Syndrome, and my nephew has it as well. He's an adult now!
