A little bit about me

Hi my name is Jill I have worked with infants and young children for a long time. All together I have about 25 years experience. I have worked with infants since 2003 and worked at a private school for 8 1/2 years and worked in that time with infants, Toddlers and all age school children as a rotator in the school. I have had lots of training courses through out the years working in child care and have some basic sign language skills to teach infants and young toddlers. I am very bubbly and happy patient and have always done well connecting with children. I love what I do and I love to watch children learn and grow, it’s such a joy. I want to build a trust with the child and parents to have a good experience for the child, parents and myself . I’m very easygoing and flexible and I look forward to becoming a Nanny and giving all my knowledge and experience.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked a few different schools through out my Child care experience. I was at a private school for 8 1/2 years. I have worked at At a Primrose school they are all over the USA I worked at a Va location and Tennessee. I have mostly been with infants and toddlers and have lots of creativity with art and lots of music. I have learned basic sign language for infants and toddlers. I have baby sat a lot of my children that were in class with me. I have had wonderful experiences with my parents and children . Also learned many new things from my coworkers and schools.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading to children and talking about all the things in the book it helps them with developing their language. I like being creative with art depending on the child age I have lots of different activities. I like singing songs with them with hand and feet movements and some sign language songs with signs as we sing. If parents would like outside time we could do lots of fun activities with balls and bubbles!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is developing a trust and bond with the child and parents so that the child is able to grow and learn in happy environment. I love watching children grow and learn new experiences.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t been a Nanny for special needs child but I have had a few special needs children in the classes I have been teaching in . I enjoyed working very much with special needs children the sweetest kindest children and I loved helping them learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a infant and toddler teacher for s long time and babysitter I haven’t been a Nanny in my childcare experience but I would love to change that and use all my knowledge one on one with a child or with a smaller number of children. My sweetest moments are when children get excited to see me and it makes my day or they gesture to me with a book or a action to something I taught them and they want to read or do songs with me. It’s wonderful watching them learn signs when they haven’t learned to talk and they can communicate with you.
