Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Before becoming a nanny, I gained experience working in daycare settings, and once I discovered nannying, I knew I had found where I truly thrive.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education with P–3 and K–5 certification and the past 5 years had been a substitute teacher while my own children were in elementary school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Of course, it all depends on their ages. It could be tummy time, walks to the playground, library time- I will follow the lead of the parents and their wants for their child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I respect that every family has their own parenting style, and I see my role as supporting and reinforcing those values rather than imposing my own. I communicate openly, ask for help when needed, and believe collaboration is key to a successful nanny-family relationship. My childcare philosophy centers on clear communication, consistency, and age-appropriate boundaries. I believe children learn best when expectations are explained and reinforced with understanding. I use consequences thoughtfully when needed, while also recognizing the power of positive reinforcement and encouragement.
I’m naturally tidy, organized, and proactive. Once I’m settled into a family’s routine, I’m able to anticipate needs and support the household smoothly.

My experience with special needs children...

I had worked for a couple years in an EC preschool classroom. The children's needs were from varied from speech delays to non-verbal children with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing the littles whose diapers I've changed and took to pre-k thrive as adults now. It's pretty cool to be a part of that journey with the families.
