Before my injury, I worked in nursing administration. I now have a disability; however, thank God, I can walk, drive, & do many other things. I cannot lift heavy objects or perform strenuous work, not for lack of desire or pride, but because my injury physically prevents me from doing so. My certifications have expired, but since the age of 14, I have cared for the elderly, children, & people with special needs. If you need someone to drive to medical appointments, companionship, or a trusted caregiver for your children or loved ones, I can help. I have raised 3 exemplary adult children & have also helped with their children, including twins. I have medical training, which has been very useful to me throughout my life. I consider myself a versatile person within my physical limitations. I speak a mixture of Spanish and Texan. I was raised in a bilingual (English-Spanish) home.
