Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I grew up in a family with toddlers and other kids and I’ve always been a good help. I’ve always had experience with kids although I’ve never worked as a Nanny. I’m pretty pro when it comes to dealing with kids. I would’ve loved extra support/ to be understood as a kid too so that motivates me to do what’s best for them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to the park, painting, coloring, playing with blocks, toys, reading, writing, homework, trying new things, making easy snacks, watching tv, singing, exercising, etc..

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is being patient with kids. Although we all get frustrated sometimes or annoyed by kids, it’s best to trust in a nanny who can follow the rules and never break the loyalty no matter what. I think sometimes kids are misunderstood and they have their own way of expressing how they feel and no one should shut that down without hearing them out. I’m not saying tolerate bad behaviors, but instead of saying no! Or punishing one, we should be able to explain their actions to them and teach them why it is wrong. It is important to make them feel safe, smart, & good about themselves..Your child should feel loved and excited to see their nanny!
