Since volunteering in the church nursery as a young child, I babysat all of my cousins growing up, worked as a summer nanny in high school. I then took an assistant teacher in the infant and toddler room at a childcare facility. From then on out I was a nanny for families where my role really started shifting into household management as well as childcare. I have been with many families for years and have become just that- a part of the family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Getting outside! Going on walks, to the park and even just sitting in the grass or having a picnic. I also enjoy crafts and sensory bins. Grabbing kitchen utensils to explore, taking glow sticks to the bath and making things out of cars board boxes. Finding creative ways that allow littles to explore the world while helping them reach milestones is one of my favorite things!
