A little bit about me

Hi there,
I am new to Nanny Lane, but excited to step out of an agency, 9-5 office life and back to my roots in child care.
I am myself a mother to a 17 and 20yr old. I also had the privilege of raising my husbands little sister who is now 28, from the age of 6. Needless to say I have experience raising children.
I have spent the last 8 years as a mental health counselor for a child intensive program with ages 0-17 yrs old. Prior to that, I worked for Pasadena Unified in special education as a behavioral interventionist. I have spent most of my professional life working with children and in my personal life, I find I get the most joy from being around my nieces and nephews and serving in the youth ministry at church. Children have a joy and a love that we can all learn from.
It would be my pleasure to serve your family. P.S. I am Moderna vaccinated.
