I have been a daycare teacher for the last year. I also babysit the daughters of a family friend.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking the kids outside to play and teaching in different things. I love to teach them the wonders of science when I have the availability I love to do experiments with them like elephant toothpaste or baking soda volcanos or anything like that. I also like to do creative projects with them for mom and dad or grandma and grandpa or whoever and I encourage them to express their creativity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being supportive of a child and helping them learn that it’s OK to make mistakes but you should try to fix them and most importantly being somebody else to love them.

I have worked with children on the autism spectrum well as hearing impaired and ADHD children.

So I was not needed to babysit for a week and the girls had their dad called me and asked if I come over and play with them because they miss me and I thought they didn’t really like me so it was really nice to hear that they wanted me to come over. I have since been updated from Ms Joci to Aunt Joci and they are definitely my girls 🥰🥰!!
