The most important part about being a nanny...
was during a trip abroad with a previous family one of the kids started to feed the pigeons some of their snack, which seemed harmless at first. However, a flock soon turn into a mass of swarming, squawking pigeons that scared the parents and I as much as the kids. We scooped up the kids and proceeded to run for our lives! We were chased for at least 5 blocks through the streets. We could figure out how we couldn’t get rid of them until we realized the bag one of the kids was holding had continued to spill out as we all ran creating a trail behind us! Cars were honking, people laughed. Finally we found the good sense to run into a store. After we calmed the kids down and rid ourselves of all snacks we laughed to tears. It’s one of my funniest memories with a family to date!
