I have worked the last 2 years for our school system as a school nurse, working in the elementary school age level, I have 4 grown children myself (which definitely gave me years of experiences), I work with children at church, and have been a nanny in the past.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do any age appropriate fun activity with kids. And even somedays, just reading and engaging in cooking, or things around the house is fun too! I like strolling through the neighborhood, walks in the park, playing outside, pool time (age appropriate) and engaging in their fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the MOST important thing is TRUST. Having trust in your family and your family trusting you daily with their children. I also feel like you need to have the same goals in mind, and try to respect each others time when they are with the children. I never want to take the parents place but when I am with your child/children, I want them to love and respect me and feel that they have someone who loves them too!

I have experience with mild autism, working with children who have behavioral problems with ADHD, ADD, etc.
