Hello Everyone!

My name is Jonn’ea Williams. I am a proud college graduate from UNCG, where I earned a BS in Public Health. Currently, I’m in graduate school pursuing a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, as I work toward becoming a BCBA.

I have always had a passion for working with children and have experience caring for kids ranging from 2 months to 12 years old. With over 3 years of nannying experience and a background in teaching and behavior analysis, I bring a deep understanding of how to support children’s growth and development. I currently work as a Behavior Technician, providing support for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, and listening to music. My personal goal is to keep striving towards self-improvement and achieving my dreams while helping others along the way.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My background started with me simply babysitting my sisters and the children of family or friends. I have three sisters who are absolutely amazing!! These experiences have given me a strong foundation in childcare.

I also worked at Chuck E. Cheese for two years, where I absolutely loved being around children. It was such a fun and energetic environment that strengthened my passion for working with kids.

After that, I worked as a nanny for three years, caring for children of various ages and providing personalized care that supported their development. Most recently, I’ve worked as a Special Education teacher, teaching kindergarten through second grade. I loved seeing the growth and success of my students and helping them reach their full potential.

Currently, I work as a Behavior Technician with children with Autism and developmental disabilities. My role involves one-on-one interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the park, painting, coloring, going to museums, taking walks, dancing, watching movies, teaching, and engaging in any creative activities that let children express themselves!

Children’s minds are so fragile and open, so the most important part is always leading by example and providing them with a safe, loving, and positive environment where they can thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently work as a Behavior Technician, where I closely support children on the autism spectrum. I provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce problematic behaviors. My previous experience as a Special Education teacher has also strengthened my ability to meet the unique needs of children with developmental disabilities.
