This moment happened while I was a teacher. There was a child in my class and even though the rest of the children had warmed up to me, he was still very weary of me. One day after his mom had done drop off and it was presenting to be a challenging morning for him he came over to me and asked me to pick him up. It may not seem like a big deal. However, it was a huge symbol of trust.

I read a lot of parenting books when they were little, tried different styles and found that the attachment parenting style made for very happy babies. I also believe keeping them on a schedule is important as it makes them feel safe knowing what to expect and when. I know being a parent of small children can be so hard and having a trusted caregiver to take over is a godsend. I would be so happy to bond with your family and help you through this time.
