is definitely being there for the child and making sure they are comfortable and know that you are here to be their friend. Watching them grow and being a special part of their lives. I like learning how they learn and how they take things in.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I worked with a special needs boy and we quickly became best friends. He loved taking things out of the garage and placing them all in a certain order and calling it a school bus. He had many friends on his school bus and I was always the driver. I remember one day while I was "driving the bus" he said "Hurry up Jordan! We are going to be late for our field trip!" I jokingly said "Excuse me, are you rushing me sir?" He laughed at me so hard and said " Yes I am we need to go to the zoo! We need to go now!" It's small but it really just melted my heart to hear him laugh and play and be so happy with his own imagination.
