I’ve been a nanny for about 5 years. I’ve cared for children from the ages of 1 month old, to 12 years old. I’ve been a live in nanny, as well as a day to day nanny. I also volunteered at a church as a sitter for the parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts & crafts with children, as well as playing outdoors with them. I enjoy taking them out to have little picnics at a park and having fun little water fights. As well as other things they enjoy doing.

Caring for their well-being and safety is definitely number one. As long as they’re safe, well taken care of and happy.

My experience with special needs children...

Ive cared for a child who has autism, I’ve cared for her since she was 1 month old, she is now 6 and I still occasionally care for her from time to time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I once went on a family beach trip with a family I was working with and had so much fun with the kids, especially since it was their first time at a beach. Just watching their faces light up as played by the water for the first time or as they enjoyed their time on the boardwalk playing games.
