With older kids, I love to build lego sets, play board/card games, go outside and play sports, do puzzles, and paint. With babies and toddlers, some of my choices would be coloring with crayons, simple arts and crafts, and activities to help develop motor skills and hand eye coordination. One of my favorite things about babies is when they discover themselves in the mirror, and for a baby that’s a game all by itself.

When my nephew was around 2, he LOVED Toy Story, and he would run around with his arms out and pretend he was flying like buzz light year. Then, all of a sudden, he would fall on the ground and say “i’m broken!” and I would go up to him and tickle him and he was magically fixed!
