Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped tutor children of lower grades, as well as led a group of children at a fire camp. My responsibilities were ensuring that they were taken care of, focused and having a good time. In the tutoring I broke down the area in which was misunderstood and helped the students understand the material.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing with them and spending time together. Making fun activities like arts and crafts, playing outside or watching movies. I also love to talk with children because they can have some of the cutest conversations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having fun with the children but also treating them with respect and kindness. Also being able to deescalate situations in which the child may be upset.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a younger sibling of the age of 5 who was diagnosed with autism. As a big sister I try to treat her with the best care as well as learn what works is for her and her autism.
