My experience with special needs children...
My parents fostered a little girl (5-6yrs) that had severe autism and was unfortunately a victim of severe neglect and needed a feeding tube. I got to help care for her with their help and on my own. This taught me a lot about patience and how to better read children’s emotions and needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment would have to be when I taught a three year old how to use her scooter for the first time! She was so proud of herself and i’ll never forget that smile on her face!
