Hello, to anyone that is wanting to learn more about me. My name is Journee McDaniel, I am 21 years old and always eager to learn and help others. Also, please feel free to contact me! I am from New Bern, North Carolina. Born and raised, I have been in the athletic world since the age of 4 and that’s pretty much all I know. A lot of people do know what goes on in the athletic world but there’s a portion of those who don’t. Being an athlete is more than doing the sport itself, you carry yourself as a role model for those who want to be in the same position, who are a younger version as yourself, or those who just enjoy the sport as it comes. We do a lot of hands on in our community, being able to help and support our youth is very important to us. We are put in a lot of social situations whether it’s media, face-to-face, or even through the phone. It’s helped so much with a lot of the skills I have today.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done a lot of help with kids over the courses of these past few years whether that was with the Special Olympics whether that was community service at the boys and girls club with my teammates I’m also the oldest of four so taking care of my siblings is something that I have pride in.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything a creative kid can come up with. I am down to do especially any outdoor outdoors activities. I love arts and crafts whatever the child heart desires.
