I have taught Pre-K through first graders for the last 26 years. Before that I worked with infants - 6 years of age in a daycare setting and in a residential placement for CPS. I also have CPR and First Aid training.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have not nannied before per se because I’m older and it was just babysitting then but my favorite memory while watching other families children was helping a family who was having a second child and I was working with their oldest on transitioning into a big sister role. She was ready very early on to have them put her little brother back in her mom’s belly and she had some very definite ideas on what to name him if they had to keep him. I have also very much enjoyed watching all of the kids I have cared for turn into adults having their own families.
