A little bit about me

My name is Julia, I grew up in Mcallen, Texas, moved to Lubbock, Texas for 6 years to finish my Bachelors and Masters Degree, and moved to Kerrville, Texas in May 2020 to live close to my parents. Now I don't ever see myself leaving the Hill Country. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, semi fluent in American Sign Language, and looking to go back to my roots of childcare and working more closely with a family. I have worked with all age groups (newborn-72yo) and have 14+ years of experience. I enjoy taking kids out and about (weather permitting), arts and crafts, singing and dancing, working on school work if needed, teaching them new skills, and simply being their next go-to favorite person. My last 5+ years have been focused on kids and adults with disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, IDD, and other physical disabilities.
