The most important part about being a nanny...
I want to make sure the children are safe and feel safe. And I want them to have fun and be active. I also think building a strong relationship with the children you care for and establishing trust is important. Providing a safe and nurturing environment, and being attentive to their needs are key elements as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with some special needs children during a basketball tournament we put on at Plymouth State University. I also helped my Unified basketball team out in high school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny or camp counselor moment was when one of my campers wrote a book about me and my dogs. It was so sweet! I also love when I’m teaching the kids how to shoot a basketball or shoot a soccer ball and they start understanding and getting super excited! And lastly my funniest moment has to be when we we were doing a push up competition and they all just pig piled me!
