Hi! My name is Julia Krawczyk and I am third year student here at SUNY New Paltz studying Early Childhood and Childhood Ed. I love working with kids, and have childcare experience in babysitting, inside and out of the classroom. I love to build connections, interact as much as I can with the kids and love to help them grow and find their hobbies and interests. I am a friendly, energetic, athletic, organized, creative, outgoing individual who thrives in a fast paced environment, and enjoys working with kiddos, and I think some of you may think I am crazy but I really do enjoy cleaning and cooking and find it very therapeutic!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I babysat my head teachers kids of the classroom I was assisting in the city for a couple of months until I went back to New Paltz to study. I was an assistant teacher for the ages 2-5 in my old preschool, and an assistant teacher in a Montessori School ages ranging from 3- 10. I was a summer camp counselor my named Activa which is a Polish Camp in Poland worked with all different age groups.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, play many different types of board games. If electronics are allowed, just dance is super fun and energetic. I love to play pretend, jeopardy, twister and other fun games with the kiddos. When its nice out outdoor activities are awesome too and love to create some games and challenges so the kids wont get bored and not know what to play with or do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

building connections with the parents, building trust, loyalty, kindness, respect, and follow all rules and regulations while having fun at the same time. It important to make sure everything is okay, safe to do, use, and form connections with the kids and don't be afraid to ask.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked alongside a special needs teacher but not alone, however I do have some experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I girl I was nannying told me she loved my dress and I looked like Belle and that made me so happy, we played dress up after and It was so fun. I love that kids have such an amazing hearts and pure imaginations and I would love to help their imaginations grow even further because they are only a kids once.
