My experience with special needs children...
My son has special needs that include, feeding therapy, speech delay, sensory processing disorder, ADHD and other challenges. I have also nannied for a child who is deaf and for children who are highly gifted and talented. All children are especially interesting and entertaining in their own way! I have a lot of experience in helping children with emotional regulation, coping, and grounding skills. We also have lived with a family member who has down syndrome and our entire family is sensitive to the needs of people who have unique challenges and differences in life.
