I'm flexible with mid-afternoon to early evening hours, four days a week, and open to adjustments for the right match. For the kiddos, I'm keen on outdoor activities like trails, hikes, and sports-related practices. 🏞️

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered for charity races to raise money for school trips and activities for children with special needs. I’m also in school for early childhood education

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love finding things to do outdoors and making up age appropriate scavenger hunts and treasure hunting. I feel with encouraging children to get outdoors not only helps their mental mind and self as well as physical energy. I believe finding things outdoors to collect for counting & color purposes also helps the children use their creative mind & touch/smell senses too.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing the positive environment for the child/children where they feel safe and can thrive as well as be themselves. As a nanny it’s my duty to help them grow into unique individuals and support their ideas at an early age. My philosophy is 95% nature based/outdoors and mindfulness development.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with two children that have muscle hypotonia and speech apraxia as well as a child with mild autism. One family I work for the mother has aspergers and extremely smart and friendly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When working with any family I’m allowed to be my full self age appropriate. One time I can remember (with a family I’ve been with for over 4 years) I was watching Mia for a date night for her parents (mind you she’s going on 7 this year and was 2 when I started) a 1/2 hour before I left she said “Miss Julia, I don’t want you to leave just yet.” I said I’ll be back soon I promise and she responded, “Well, how about like 10 more days?” It was the sweetest because although she didn’t get the complete concept of 10 days, she wanted me to stay for longer and I loved that. :)
