I’ve always loved working with kids and spent years volunteering, babysitting, and helping in children’s groups growing up. I currently work as an assistant director at an infant through 5-year-old childcare facility.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love anything creative and crafty! Scrapbooking, junk journaling, stickers, paper scraps, glue, little projects — I love it all. I also enjoy puzzles, coloring, outdoor play, and finding fun hands-on activities for kids to enjoy and learn from!
My experience with special needs children...
One of my first nannying jobs was for a family with three girls, including one who was autistic and nonverbal. I’ve also worked with many children with special needs through childcare, including autism, PTSD, speech delays, and behavioral challenges. I always try to be patient, understanding, and supportive with every child!
