A little bit about me

Hello everyone! My name is Juliana and I am 20 years old. I have been a live in Nanny for just under a year now, watching a four year old and working a part time job. However, I'd like to take on more Nannying Hours and focus on college as a way to further my education and experience in the field I love.. I plan on going to college this upcoming semester to work on a degree in Early childhood education as well as a bachelor's. Although I haven't decided what for yet.

I work to provide a supportive and Constructive environment for children of any ages. There is always another lesson to be taught, and I firmly believe that that can be done through construction reasoning and time for children pasted a certain age. I'm usually really flexible. The only time I would be able to work would be 6am-8am on Weekdays, and 6am-11 on weekends.

Depending on the rate I am also able to other tasks such as meal prep, cleaning, dog walking, or cleaning up after.

I currently Nanny with a four year old. He is very active and intelligent. So I have to make sure that his day is spent doing meaningful things.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Dependant on the age. With children 2-9 I love doing smaller arts and crafts project.
More so building things as they get old enough. With smaller children is much more important that they get that special one in one attention, rather than playing any game specifically.

The most important part about being a nanny...

That you make them feel safe. Being without Mommy and Daddy, or opening yourself up to someone new can be hard for kids. While implying the rules, You have to make them feel safe and care for. Provide them with the things they need, when they need them. I always try to think of things from their perspective, and try to settling things fairly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

On the fourth of July, a four year old that I was watching was allowed to stay up much later than he normally did. He later came back inside and started crying, why? Because I had been playing relaxing dog music inside, the video happened to show some pretty cute dogs. The poor thing thought they were so cute that he begged us to take a photo so that he would 'never forget them'. What a little sweetheart.
